FAMILY GUY - Emmy Opening
As I mentioned in my 59th Primetime Emmy Awards review, one of my favorite things from the even was the FAMILY GUY introduction by Stewie and Brian. If you missed it, here is the video below.

The 59th Emmy Awards opening
As always, most of my picks didn't win, but I'm starting to get used to it. I mostly watched it just to be able to write about it .
I do have to mention the first number of the night by Family Guy's very own: Stewie and Brian. Now that was worth tuning in to. It was so inappropriate, I love it! And I cannot wait for Family Guy to start next Sunday.
Here is a list of some of the winners and some of my thoughts:
The 59th Primetime Emmy Awards start at 8pm tonight. I used to be really excited about all the award shows, but as time goes by, I care less and less. That doesn't mean that I won't tune in, but I might forward through a lot of parts (did I mention I love my DVR?). I have to admit though, I am still sort of excited for tonight's Emmy Awards.
Before the 59th Primetime Emmy Awards show starts, I thought I would do a recap of some the nominees as well as my picks for each category. We'll see if any of them are right.
Here is the list (my picks are in blue):
Live from the Red Carpet: The 2007 Primetime Emmy Awards - 6pm E!
This year Kristin Veitch Dos Santos will be on the red carpet interviewing all the stars, and since I love her blog and "The Vine Show," I will be tuning in to E! for sure.
Countdown to the Emmys - 7pm FOX
This is FOX Countdown to the Emmys. It starts an hour after E! but since everybody seems to arrive closer to 8pm (which makes sense), I might switch back and forth once FOX's coverage starts.
59th Primetime Emmy Awards - 8pm FOX
So here we are, the Emmys are tonight and we will find out who the winners are this year. I know from experience that my picks usually don't win, but it won't prevent me from posting my picks later today before the results air.
SIDE ORDER OF LIFE "Coming Out" - 8pm Lifetime
Such a sweet show, but I still [...]
I know the Emmy Nominations have been announced for a while, but this has been bugging me ever since, so I decided to write a post about it. People have let out their disappointment that Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler weren't nominated as well as Friday Night Lights, and although I think they really deserved a nomination too, I personally was even more surprised that Evangeline Lilly wasn't nominated. As I was watching Lost this season, I couldn't help but think this was Evangeline Lilly's year. Throughout the seasons, Evangeline Lilly has grown in the part of Kate and I always thought she was a really good actress, but I have to say this season she was absolutely phenomenal. She took her acting to a whole new level and I could not take my eyes off her.
One of the first scene that started her growth as an actress is [...]
The 59TH PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS NOMINEES were announced this morning. Here are some of the major nominations below. One thing I'd like to say is that some of my favorite shows never get nominated and year after year, the same shows get nominated over and over again, to the point that sometimes it's a pretty boring process. But this year, I really thought Friday Night Lights would make the cut. Why you might ask, well because I thought it was exactly in the vein of what the Emmy Awards are about. Obviously I was wrong, and I am really sad that Friday Night Lights will not get the recognition it deserves. Oh yeah, and I have given up on shows like Battlestar Galactica, Eureka, really all the Sci-Fi shows, Veronica Mars, and more of my favorites, getting nominated.
I am however excited about The Office, Lost, Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, House, Ugly [...]

I can say that some of my favorites have made it, but it seems like Battlestar Galactica has once again been ignored. I just don't get it. Battlestar Galactica is as good and sometimes even better than the shows nominated. It [...]
