EXTRAS Christmas Special Preview

This is probably the best and worst gift that we will be getting this Christmas TV-wise. Best because we get a whole new 90 minutes EXTRAS episode. Worst because it also means this is the end of Extras.

But before getting too sad, don't forget to enjoy Extras one last time tonight starting at 9pm on HBO. For now check out a preview from Extras Christmas Special below.

Ricky Gervais’s latest brain child “Extras” is one of the most brilliant shows to surface on television in a long time. It’s centered around the lives of two struggling actors, Andy Milman (Gervais) and Maggie Jacobs (Ashley Jensen) working as extras in London, England. Each week’s episode has a celebrity guest that never fails to bring the star power (past guests have included Sir Ian McKellen, Daniel Radcliffe, and Kate Winslet). What I like best about Extras is that it’s as funny as Gervais’ “The Office” sans cringe worthy boss David Brent.

Cast: Ricky Gervais, Ashley Jensen, Stephen Merchant, and Shaun Williamson.

Plot: Two struggling actors, Andy Millman and Maggie Jacobs, work as extras while waiting for their big break.

EXTRAS - Series Finale Scheduled for December 16th

HBO has set a date for the series finale of EXTRAS to air on December 16th at 9pm.

Even though I'm sad this is the end of Extras, "The Extra Special Series Finale" will bring us some special guests, including: Clive Owen, David Tennant, Gordon Ramsay and George Michael.

In addition, the finale will last 83 minutes... can you believe it, 83 minutes of Extras awesomeness.

So get ready to see more of Andy Millman (Ricky Gervais) and Maggie Jacobs (Ashley Jensen) and their outrageous conversations and behaviors. But that's why we love them...

I cannot wait for December!

If you like IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, get ready because the show is back on FX September 13th. The third season will include 15 episodes.
I have watched it once or twice and it has some very funny moments.

ONE-HOUR "EXTRAS" EPISODE

EXTRAS will be back with a one-hour special episode to conclude the series (does that remind you of The Office Special? That was one of the best episodes).

Ricky Gervais is also in talks with HBO for stand-up special. This guy is brilliant, I think he is the only actor who made me hate him so much (in The Office).

ALICIA WITT JOINS "LAW AND ORDER:CI"

Alicia Witt is joining the cast of LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT this fall as it moves to USA Network. She will be playing Detective Mike Logan's (Chris Noth) new partner, Detective Nola Falacci.
The seventh season will start on October 4th at 10pm on USA.
